Trinity students celebrate St Josephine Bakhita’s Feast Day Mass

On Thursday 8th February, a group of 13 students, accompanied by Sr Susanna and Mr Pham, celebrated St Josephine Bakhita’s Feast Day at St Mary’s Cathedral. Students and teachers from Sydney Catholic Schools, local parishioners and visitors celebrated with the Sudanese community honouring the inspiring life of St Bakhita, the patron Saint of Sudan, modern slavery and human trafficking. St Bakhita Mass 1
Archbishop Fisher also launched the Archdiocese’s Anti-Slavery Taskforce, its strategy and initiatives in respect to supply chains, education and community engagement, all directed toward the eradication of modern slavery and human trafficking.
